Smovey Health is committed to maintaining the Privacy, Security and confidence of our customers at all times. This is our privacy policy we have prepared for you to explain how, when and why we would store or use you’re personal Data. At Smovey Health we are committed to maintaining the trust and confidence of our visitors to our web site. In particular, we want you to know that Smovey Health is not in the business of selling, renting or trading email lists with other companies and businesses for marketing purposes. We just don’t do that sort of thing. We will not share your information with any third party outside of Smovey Health other than those necessary to fulfill your order. For example, to ship an order and get it delivered to you. When visitors leave comments on the site we collect the data shown in the comments form, and also the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection.

Contact forms

When you complete a contact form on our website we will only ask for information that is relevant and important to providing and improving our services. For example, your name, email, delivery address where required, your reason for choosing Smovey, and any other relevant information that you provide that helps us to understand your needs and provide an excellent service to you. We will store your information indefinitely or until such time as you request it to be removed, or we decide to remove it. Your data will be stored securely and used to provide the service as requested by you via the contact form. If you decide to opt-in for marketing, promotions, offers, content, or updates we will send you only the materials, advertising, or content that you have opted in to receive.

They are used to ‘remember’ when your computer or device accesses our website. Similar to Google Analytics, we use Facebook analytics to understand user’s website behaviour and website performance in order to optimise our website and provide the best service policy. We also use facebook analytics and sales data to understand customer and website visitor demographics and products of interests to better understand our customers and create tailored products and services to suit their needs. We use Hotjar to measure website use, in particular pages viewed and the level of engagement with various pages and their content. We use Mailchimp in part to understand sales volume and value, as well as the most popular products and service available on our website. Mailchimp is also used by Smovey Health to manage subscribers and send personalised and tailored content, offers, and form time to time advertising to customers who have expressly ‘opted-in’ to receive them. Face to Face

If you call into our office or we meet you at one of our events and you decide to make a purchase of Smovey or to book onto one of our courses. We will ask you for your name, email address, mobile phone number, and why you want to use smovey.
We will firstly write this down on our customer contact forms and then this information is inputted and stored on our secure Zoho CRM system in the office.
Securely storing this data ensures the details of your purchases are available for you, in case of any query or concern at a later date.

We use a locked filing cabinet to store any contracts and essential business notes, the only people with Keys are the business owner Irene Treacy and the office manager.
This is monitored and tidied several times every year to ensure all data is current. Any notes not required are shredded.

Training Course

If you attend any of our Smovey Health or Helping People with Parkinson’s Courses please be assured that we do not share your personal details, Photos or information with any other company without your consent.

Third Parties

We take careful precautions to protect your information when you submit it to us via website or face to face. Here is how

  • We will not sell, rent or give away your information to anyone
  • When we collect sensitive information (such as credit card data), that information is encrypted and transmitted to us securely
  • If we take your credit card details over the phone, we input it directly into the secure machine. Only employees who need the information to perform a specific job (for example, billing or customer service) are granted access to personally identifiable information. The computers in which we store personally identifiable information are kept locked in our office, in a security alarmed building.
  • If we ever have to write your card details down (this will only happen face to face and you will be aware) the details are kept on the member of staff who will process them within 24 hours and then they will shredded.

Whilst these are the companies we use, they will not have access to your details unless it is 100% needed. Retention Period

The criteria used to determine the period of storage of personal data is the respective statutory retention period. After expiration of that period the corresponding date is routinely deleted as long as it’s no longer necessary for the fulfillment of the contract or the initiation of a contract or in the running of day to day business.
