Karl and Irene helping people with Parkinson's

We have some extremely exciting news to share with you; I am organising a Parkinson’s workshop in Dublin on Wednesday 8th November with 2 very special guests.  Parkinson’s specialists Karl Sterling is coming all the way from New York who will share with us his best practises and techniques to help people with Parkinson’s overcome daily challenges from rolling over in bed, improving gait, balance, coordination, cognitive behaviour & dexterity.
I did this workshop in London only a few weeks ago and could not believe how he helped so many PWP overcome some of their challenges and they all left totally “buzzing and empowered to help themselves”.  Check out his website www.physiochains.com and his Facebook page for some great content.

We also have Dr. Ryan Foley, from Evolve Physiotherapy & Wellness in Waterford who has recently returned from America and will be using Applied Function Neurology to give some hands on practical techniques to help improve some issues like balance and rigidity.

Both these specialists will be asking for participation from the group so if you have any particular issues that you’d like help with, this is your chance to get help from the experts.

I will be giving a short smovey demonstration and showing some new exercises to help with many issues that PWP suffer on a daily basis from improving balance, coordination, mobility and helping with constipation.

There are 2(the same) workshops on Wednesday 8th November from 9am to 1pm with extra hour for questions, answers and personal attention with the 2nd workshop starting at 3pm to 7pm and again extra hour if anybody would like to ask questions or personal attention. (Only choose ONE workshop).

The hotel is offering reduced bed and breakfast rate of €69.00 for single or  €99.00 for double.

Places are limited to 40 people per workshop and open to people with Parkinson’s, carers and health/fitness professionals working with people with Parkinson’s.

The workshop is interactive (if you choose) so please wear comfortable clothes and shoes.
